Engineering Capabilities:

Mechanical Engineering:

  • In-house engineering capability with experience in products and processes  noted in the Equipment Types web page and it's description. All engineering is done in AutoCad 2010 or Solidworks version 2010.
  • Automation integration, including robots, gantries, conveyors, pallets and fixtures.
  • Startup, on-site service, production support for the life cycle of the equipment.

Tooling and Fixture Design:

  • New, retool or rebuild of Fixtures.
  • In-process and off line gage feedback integration.

Electrical Engineering Capability:

Controls Services:

  • New and redesigned controls systems including but not limited to the following PLC's. ie. Allen Bradley, Modicon, Omron, Mitsubishi. Designed to meet customer supplied specifications.
  • Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and coolant system design, detail and check with drawings created using AutoCAD 2009.
  • Electrical panel and machine wiring and components to meet or exceed industry standards UL508A for panel arc flash requirements, latest applicable version of NEC, and CE or CSA if applicable.
  • SCCR considerations and documentation for all control panels to meet or exceed available power at customer installation site.
  • Heat calculations provided for all electrical enclosures housing controllers, drives, MMI's and any other heat sensitive equipment using customer supplied plant ambient temperature data.
  • Fluid flow and consumption calculations and documentation.
  • Off-site engineering support.
  • Machine networking and communication system development and improvement.

 CNC Equipment:

  • New CNC equipment build.
  • Rebuild, retool, retrofit and controller upgrade services.
  • Over 15 years experience on CNC controlled lathes, machining centers, transfer lines, dial machines, gantries
  • Fanuc (original and re-labeled) and Indramat CNC controller experience, current and legacy product lines.
  • CNC ladder logic, part program, parameter, FIS, and MMI design and documentation using current manufacturer development software.
  • Machine mounted I/O systems including DeviceNet, ProfiBus, Ethernet, Interbus S and others.
  • Smaller panels, machine mounted where possible to minimize floor space footprint.

General Motion Control:

  • Allen Bradley servo and spindle drives.
  • Indramat servo and spindle drives.
  • Variable frequency drives.
  • Single axis positioning control.
  • Stepper motor control.

Custom Software Programming:

  • Visual Basic.
  • Inbedded Controllers.
